Premier Sports Artist at the US Pro Cycling Challenge in Denver

Malcolm Farley, renowned for his electric, colorful, representations of the biggest moments in the sports and entertainment world, has joined forces with the US Pro Cycling Challenge to raise money for Denver’s Road Home.

Farley will be on hand to capture the Kickoff Party in Colorado Springs for the Inaugural “Pedal Party” on Sunday August 21rst from four to eight pm, and then at every finish line city through out the tour. The highlight of the week long event will be Farley’s coveted masterpiece portraying the finish line excitement in front of a “hometown” crowd, with the Denver Capitol Building looming in the background.

Malcolm has created a line of paintings in advance of the race, consisting of seven images portraying the beauty of Colorado and the competitive spirit of man . These prints will accompany his onsite gallery along the tour route. The gallery will stock the complete “Colorado Cycling Commemorative” line including posters, limited edition canvases, and original artwork. Also on display will be images from Lance Armstrong’s seventh Tour de France victory. Set inside the Festival grounds, the Malcolm Farley Gallery will provide the venue for “meet and greets” with the artist, allowing fans to have their purchases personalized during the festival time slots.

Along with his long list of commissions and sold out limited editions for the biggest sporting events including the Super Bowl, The Olympics, The World Series, and virtually every other sporting championship, Farley is also well known for his philanthropic endeavors. He has worked with Harrison Ford, Mikail Gorbachev, Stevie Wonder, and a long list of America’s top athletes and entertainers to raise well over one million dollars for charities world wide. Locally, he recently set the record auction price of the Denver 20/30 Polo Classic at $30,000 for a 36 by 36 inch canvas, and nationally witnessed his canvas demand a record $115,500 at the San Antonio Spurs annual Tux’n’Tennies Gala.

Farley will be donating 25% of the proceeds from the sales of the prints series to Denver’s Road Home.

“It is truly an honor to capture such an amazing sports spectacle right here in my home state. To be able to follow my passion and at the same time raise funds for individuals improving their lives at Denver’s Road Home, brings about a smile in my being.” Farley went on to state that “I share in the vision of the race creators….this is really going to be a showcase for all.  The US Pro Cycling Challenge will have a strong following for years to come.
