Music

For the last two decades world renowned artist, Malcolm Farley, has shared the stage with the biggest names in the music industry.

From capturing Sting and the Police Reunion “Live” at the 2007 Grammy Celebration, painting pop star Seal on a floating stage in Las Vegas, to all out interactive “jams” with the legendary Carlos Santana, a swirl of Malcolm’s brush has created some of the most definitive music images in history.

Whether “front and center” with a symphony in an Olympic tribute to the athletes, or lurking in the shadows of a smoke filled jazz club with BB King, Malcolm creates that added element to completely fulfill the senses.

A former jazz saxophonist himself, Malcolm is not only knowledgeable, but his passion for music “oozes” from his soul through his art. His colorful canvases of music icons and festivals hang in some of the most prestigious collections world wide. His inherent ability to bring the musicians’ true essence to life through his gestural swashes of color, speak to the viewer at a seemingly subconscious level.

As icon Stevie Wonder relayed backstage after collaborating with Malcolm at a Los Angeles fund raiser, “His color is a language itself, speaking to all people at a soul level.”

His mastery of paint and canvas allows Malcolm to create that “defining moment”, simultaneously echoing the personality of the musicians he has painted.

Performing onstage in front of thousands, creating in the intimate settings of a corporate “gig”, or painting in his studio, music is an important motivational element to Malcolm’s work. Image after image, blank canvases are transformed for eternity, as is the consciousness of all who witness this Modern day master at work.

When capturing the energy and passion of “The Game” , Malcolm Farley stands alone in his field, always striving to create the “game winner” in every situation!
